These brushes are great for applying cream, liquid, or powder products. They are soft, easy to clean, and great quality. The sigma website offers a wide range of brushes from eyes to face.

Real Technique brushes are inexpensive, easy to use, and can be found at Ulta and online. This brush line was created by YouTuber Samantha Chapman.
Beauty Blender

I know it seems insane to spend $20 on a beauty sponge but honestly this sponge has changed my makeup world! If you have any dry areas on your face applying your foundation with a damp beauty blender will make all the difference. This sponge is great if you have oily/combo skin too. Real Techniques actually just came out with their own form of the beauty blender. That is a great alternative as it's cheaper and can be found at Ulta.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette

This palette came into my life later in the year but is a real shinning star. Hourglass does offer many individual Ambient Lighting Powders but this palette is a wonderful way to try 3 of the powders, one of which is limited edition, without breaking the bank. I have been using this palette at least twice a week since I bought the palette at Sephora. I use it for setting my foundation, contouring, and highlighting.
elf cream blush

I was surprised to fall in love with this product this year. I did a tutorial on my channel where I did half of my face drug store and half high-end and this cream blush was better than the new Chanel cream blushes they came out with around the summer time. The e.l.f studio cream brushes are only $6, apply really well, and you get a lot of product. The only downside is the packaging, it is a bit chunky.
Urban Decay MoonDust Shadows- Zodiac and Diamond Dog
http://bit.ly/1biSZwr
Urban Decay just released their line of MoonDust shadows this year and these really surprised me. The shades Zodiac and Diamond Dog are my favorite. I find they apply best with a damp brush or just your finger. Most of the time I apply these shadows over top other shadows as somewhat of a glitter top coat. These shadows are really unique and beautiful.
MAC e/s Omega, Nylon, Club, and Satin Taupe
MAC makes amazing eyeshadow that is no secret. Four of my favorites for the year have been Omega, Nylon, Club, and Satin Taupe. I love Omega for filling in my eyebrows, it world great for my red/blonde brows. This shadow is also great for a crease color for any eye look. Nylon is an amazing highlight shade. Club is a great fun shade that has an unique look to it. This shadow works well applied all over the lid and then blended out of my favorite was to use it is over top eyeliner for a fun pop of color. Satin Taupe is probably one of MAC's most popular shades, great for all over the lid or in the crease.
Urban Decay NAKED, NAKED 2, and NAKED 3
http://bit.ly/1huJtMh
Urban Decay came out with the NAKED 3 Palette toward the end of the year this year and that kind of blow all of my other palettes out of the water. The NAKED (one) will always hold a special place in my heart but the NAKED 3 wins for this years favorite palette. The shadows are pigmented, easy to use, and if you would like a complete review and swatches check out my blog post on the palette.
