Bella Terra Cosmetics Review 

Hello friends I recently received a couple things from the wonderful people at Bella Terra Cosmetics to try out and review. I am pleased with the products I received. Like most brands there are some wonderful products and there are some that could use a bit of improving. Bella Terra products are created with no alcohols, talc, oils, fillers, dyes, preservatives or additives. They offer a wide range of products from foundation to eyeshadow. They have over 60 different shimmers, their products are versatile and since they are natural can be used on the eyes or for the lips, as blush and/or highlighter.

Large Angled Kabouki: Retail price on website is $30. Made from synthetic fibers, Italian kabouki is animal-free and cruelty free. Gentle fibers won't cause irritation. 

Bronzer Brush: Retail price on website is $49.99.  Made from synthetic fibers, Italian kabouki is animal-free and cruelty free. Gentle fibers won't cause irritation. 

Eye Shadow Brush: Retail price on website $16.99. Made from synthetic fibers, Italian kabouki is animal-free and cruelty free. Gentle fibers won't cause irritation. 

Large Angled Kabouki Brush: Is great for blending powder all over the skin and works well with mineral makeup as well as pressed powders. All of the Bella Terra Kabouki brushes are great as a pre-shave brushes for men according to the website. 

Bronzer Brush: Full, round, dense bristles are great for contouring and blend out color smoothly. 

Eye Shadow Brush: Dense brush that picks up product well and is wonderful for blending out colors in the crease, pressing shadow on the lid, or define the eye. Applies mineral shimmers as well as other shadows beautifully. 

Bella Terra Sheer, Micro-fine finish Foundation Powder

Mineral Foundation is meant to provide a sheer coverage; evens out skin, and allows true skin tone to shine through. Bella Terra offers eleven shades which I find wonderful because that means there is something for everyone. I am extremely fair and I use the shade Ulta. The mineral foundation was created to be an all in one: Mineral Foundation, Liquid Foundation, Concealer, Finishing Veil, and UVA/UVB Protection. 

Price of Mineral Foundation $59.99 

Packaging is not my favorite because it is not easy to travel with and sometime too much product comes out and something it is difficult to get enough.

It is clear to see that Bella Terra foundation provides great coverage while still allowing natural skin to show through. 

Easy to mix moisturize and powder foundation together to create the perfect blend of coverage and moisture. I find this trick amazing for concealing under the eyes as well as around any dry areas on the skin.

Mineral Bronzers are priced at $34.99

There are two shades of bronzer available.

This shade is Sunset Kiss: A golden, tan, and shimmery (except on the skin) bronzer

I find mineral products apply best when dusted into the lid of the product and then using a brush swirl product taping off excess powder and apply to face or body. I love to put my bronzer anywhere the sun naturally hits like the forehead, tops of cheekbones, temples, nose, and chin. If you are looking for a contoured look apply bronzer in the hollows of the cheeks, sides of nose, jaw line, and temples. If you want to look extra sunkissed bring bronzer down neck and check. 

Be sure to use a little hand with this product because a little bit goes a long way 

Shimmer does show up when product is swatched however, once applied to the skin bronzer looks natural and provides the skin with a gorgeous glow.

Comparing the two shades next to one another it is clear that Sensual is more sheer than Sunset Kiss. I find they both work well on pale skin. Sunset Kiss (on right) does need a much lighter hand and Sensual (on left) is a little easier to use and does not require much blending on the skin.

Downfall of the packaging is that the sifter did come off of both of the bronzers I received. This makes the product a little more difficult to use, not user friendly, and not easy to travel with.

I apply the blush same as the foundation and bronzer start by tapping some of the product in the lid and then with my brush swirl the product, tap off excess, and the apply blush to check bones. This product is safe to use on eyes and lips as well.

Mineral Shimmer 9 Stacks 

All 9 stacks come with a variety of shades so that you can create a variety of looks. Each shimmer can be used in eight different ways: Creamy Shadow, eyeliner, matte shadow, lip color, body glitter, hair streaks, nail polish, and/or mascara

The 9-Stack I have is Topaz which offers a mix of neutral shades and colorful shades  

There are seven different 9-stack powders available 

Top shade is a shimmery pale gold 

Third shade down is a gorgeous pale shimmery pink 

Shade on the right which is a pale shimmery gold is the first shadow in the 9-Stack shimmer powder set in Topaz and moving the the left the stack moves to more colorful shades 

This is one of my favorite shades in the stack (swatched down below)

All of the shades are pigmented, easy to blend, last all day (with a primer), and fun to use

I do wish the packaging was a little bit different. I would love if each shadow could be taken off of the stack for easy traveling.

I find this cleanser does not remove my makeup well however it does leave my skin smooth, soft, prevents dry patches (I have dry/combo skin), and has a convenient pump. The Milky Cleanser is meant for all skin types, and having sensitive skin myself I can vouch for that. This cleanser can also be used as a pre-shave, skin-soothing cleanser for men. When using this cleanser I first remove all of my makeup with Jojoba oil and then gentle apply cleanser to damp face using circular motions to remove impurities from skin. I then rinse with warm water first finishing with cold then gentle drying face with clean towel.  

I do like that is product does have a pump for easy use however the lid is difficult to take off

1.69 fl oz/ 50 ml 

This gel is meant to brighten and clarify the skin. This is to be used once a week. Personally I do not really like this product. I find it is not abrasive enough for me personally and it is difficult to rinse of the face. I find it clings to the little hairs on the side of my cheeks. The directions advise to use once a week at night. Apply to entire face and neck and allow to sit. Just when gel begins to dry, rub it in with fingertips. I do not find even after letting product sit on skin that it is easy to blend in circular motion.

Packaging while gorgeous is not practical or sanitary 

This and the Milky Cleanser work amazing together. As states before I have dry/combo skin but since using these products I have not has any dry patches and my skin has felt baby soft. I have been using this as my night time moisturizer. It is hydrating and feels great on the skin. 

All together I really love Bella Terra. The Milky Cleanser and Daily Moisturizer has helped hydrate my dry skin and prevent dry patches. I am not a fan of the exfoliating gel it does not give a strong exfoliate and does not rinse off the skin easily.  I really love that the 9-Stack powders can be used for many different things. The Mineral Foundation is wonderful, it can be used as foundation, setting powder, concealer, and undereye concealer. The bronzers are nice to contour with or just create a nice sunkissed glow. The blush is sheer but buildable and can be used on lips and/or eyes.
