This palette is limited edition, offers six face/cheek product, and runs $65. This limited-edition palette features two of their most popular face products, Orgasm and Laguna. I was so happy to see that NARS came out with a cheek palette this year. They had come out with another face palette about two years ago and was difficult to find after it was sold out. If you love this palette be sure to get your hands on it as soon as possible. There is a wide range of shades available in this palette, there is a bright matte pink, berry mauve, peach with a glow, a sheer peach, and a bronzed brown. This would be a perfect palette to give to a loved one this holiday season or to spoil yourself with. Perfect for travel, has all of the products needed for a full face, and it's all in one place. Plus three of the products in this palette are limited and limited edition to this palette.

MAC Divine Night Collection
Perfectly Poised hightlight as well as Talk of the Town Blush
Left to right- Light smaller shade, Larger gold section, and both mixed together
Mineralized
Skinfinish Perfectly Poised offers three shades. There are two individual
shades that can be swirled together to create one color. The gold shade is
pigmented but a bit powdery, the top shade is not pigmented but buildable, and
the two mixed together are not really a pretty highlight for pale skin at
least. The gold could work as an eyeshadow however; the price tag of the
mineralized skinfinish is way expensive.
A couple layers over primer
Mineralized
blush in Talk of the Town while a little bit chunky does work well as a
highlighting blush on fair skin. Those with dark skin may be able to use this
product as a highlight. I like the light pink champagne shade with blush has to
offer. This is a blush that will require a little bit of blending to achieve a
full blushed look.
I have the Lavish Living Blush on and a small amount of Perfectly Poised Mineralized Skinfinish
Gloss in Private Party
Eyeshadow in Past Midnight
Fluidline in Stars and Speculation
Natural Sunlight- The glitter is really present
Mineralized
blush in Lavish Living is pigmented but has way too much glitter for my taste. The
shade reminds me of NARS Sin but with extreme glitter. The glitter is visible
on the skin; I personally do not like this blush. If you enjoy blushers with an
obvious sparkle this is a good blush for you.
Swatched with a primer
Natural Sunlight
Mineralized
eyeshadow in Past Midnight is another product in this collection that offers
three shades in one product. The purple is not that pigmented and does need to
be built up in order to really see the true dark purple shade. The lighter
purple is a bit chunky and powdery with little pay off. The two shades mixed
together create a gunmetal gray. While this eyeshadow does swatch well on the
eyes the shadows just blend into just a washed out gay shade. When swatching
the rest of the shades in the store this seemed like the least chalky and most
pigmented of the bunch. I was disapointed once I applied the shadows on the
lid, even with a primer.
Fluidline
in Starts and Speculation is a really great olive green shade that is perfect for
the fall. This product can be used as a liner or as a base for eyeshadow. The
liner is a bit sheer when first applied as a liner but a light second layer
really brings out the gorgeous olive gold shimmer. My tip for preventing cream products from
drying out is to store them upside down.
Lipsick
in Prepare for Pleasure is a really great fire engine red. I love MAC lipsicks so
I am a sucker for gorgeous vibrant shade in their collections. This lipstick is
really pigmented with just one swipe and is a red that will work on many
different skin tones.
Cremesheen
gloss in Private Party is a great unique shade. I really do like the formula of
cremesheen glosses and I like this shade
is great. There are two shades in this collection that are sheer and those
shades are not worth the price point of MAC Cremesheen glosses. Revlon has
great clear/sheer glosses that are a lot less expensive. The red gloss in this
collection is really gorgeous.
As a whole this collection is a bit of a disappointment. This is their holiday collection and I feel like many of the products are not pigmented, chalky, powdery, do not blend well, and are way too over priced. That being said there are a couple items I do like. I enjoy the cremesheen gloss in Private Party, Fluidline in Starts and Speculation, Lipstick in Prepare for Pleasure, and the blush in Talk of the Town. These products may not work for every skin tone or be for everyones taste. The design of the products are pretty and if you have a MAC lover in your life and you wanted to get them something from this collection for Christmas just make sure you find out what works best with their skin tone because some of these product will not work for everyone.
